I cannot tell you how excited I am about this movie. As a fan of the Nickelodeon cartoon series, I wondered how M.Night Shyamalan was going to capture the massive world and visual immensity the animated version contained. Based on this new trailer that aired during the Super Bowl, I think he’s done an awesome job and I’ll be in the theater on July 2nd to see this movie (the first of three).
Interesting fact: the title of the cartoon series was actually called “Avatar: The Last Airbender” but James Cameron’s Avatar made M. Night shorten the title.
